About the Role
Hyatt Regency Denver Convention Center is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to support hotel operations by processing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry. This position plays an important role in maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction by ensuring laundry items are properly sorted, cleaned, pressed, folded, and prepared for use throughout the property.
This is a morning-shift position in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, attention to detail, and working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold hotel and guest laundry
- Operate commercial laundry, pressing, and folding equipment
- Program and monitor laundry machinery as needed
- Maintain accurate operational logs and records
- Ensure laundry items meet hotel cleanliness and presentation standards
- Follow safety procedures and department guidelines
- Assist with organization and handling of linens and uniforms
- Support housekeeping and laundry operations as needed
Qualifications
- Basic verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to approximately 50 pounds
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule
- Basic written communication skills preferred
Compensation
- Starting pay: $22.40 per hour
