About the Role
Guild is seeking an Analytics Engineer to help power data-driven decision making across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, data engineering, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence, supporting the development of trusted datasets, reporting infrastructure, and actionable insights.
The Analytics Engineer will play a key role in organizing, standardizing, and analyzing data that supports reporting, AI initiatives, and advanced analytics. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the business while helping improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and document core data models and curated datasets.
- Support reporting, analytics, and AI-driven business initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with teams across the organization to understand data needs.
- Perform data quality assurance and investigate data discrepancies.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and data models.
- Manage analytics projects while communicating timelines and progress to stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Looker and Omni reporting environments.
- Support troubleshooting and optimization of reporting infrastructure.
- Implement governance processes that ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain critical reporting systems and data assets.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar role.
- Experience designing and maintaining data models for reporting, analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
- Experience with modern data transformation tools such as dbt or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of data modeling best practices and analytics architecture.
- Experience building reporting solutions using Looker, Omni, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics engineering workflows.
- Experience with data governance and reporting oversight processes.
- Strong data visualization and dashboard design skills.
- Understanding of modern data engineering practices and scalable analytics infrastructure.
