About the Role
Ibotta is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join its Client Analytics team in Denver. This role focuses on helping teams across the organization make informed, data-driven decisions through reporting, analytics, visualization, and business intelligence solutions.
The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert on data and reporting, partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver meaningful insights, automate reporting processes, and improve access to critical business information. This hybrid position requires in-office attendance three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Key Responsibilities
- Support teams across the organization through reporting, monitoring, tracking, and business performance analysis.
- Create dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate data-driven insights.
- Gather requirements and design scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Automate reports and improve reporting efficiency through best practices.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and investigate business hypotheses.
- Extract, transform, and automate large-scale data transfers.
- Monitor data quality and recommend improvements across multiple data streams.
- Design and maintain aggregate and summary tables to improve reporting performance.
- Deliver actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of analytics or business intelligence experience within an agile environment.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence platforms.
- Proven ability to develop, automate, maintain, and communicate reporting solutions.
- Experience creating data visualizations and business reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and business insights to senior leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ownership mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organizations.
- Experience with Looker.
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience with Airflow.
- Experience using Git.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture.

Work Location
This position is based in Denver, Colorado and follows a hybrid schedule requiring in-office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
