Job Overview

Covenant Aviation Security is seeking a professional and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee airport security operations at Denver International Airport (DEN).

This role is responsible for supervising security personnel, maintaining operational compliance, responding to incidents, coordinating workforce scheduling, and ensuring all airport security procedures are followed properly.

The ideal candidate will have prior airport or regulated security environment experience and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Functions

• Supervise security personnel during assigned shifts
• Ensure all security tasks and procedures are completed properly
• Conduct routine checks of on-duty security officers
• Monitor compliance with:
  • Post Orders
  • Company policies
  • Client rules and regulations
• Inspect security posts and equipment for safety and functionality
• Respond to:
  • Incidents
  • Emergencies
  • Operational issues
  • Security concerns
• Coach and mentor security personnel
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and required testing
• Perform training instruction as assigned

Administrative Functions

• Prepare and submit operational documentation including:
  • Daily Activity Reports (DARS)
  • Incident Reports
  • Employee Statements
  • Patrol logs
  • Sign-in/sign-out rosters
• Maintain knowledge of all security equipment and officer duties
• Coordinate scheduling adjustments and workforce assignments
• Communicate operational updates with management and supervisors
• Coordinate with site management regarding special situations

Additional Duties

• Perform other duties assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Aviation Management
  • Security Management
  • Related field preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• Minimum:
  • Two (2) years in regulated security environments, OR
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience in airport environments regulated under Part 1542
• Must maintain a professional appearance
• Must be able to obtain and maintain airport badge clearance
