Job Overview
Ibotta is seeking a Technical Manager, Client Analytics to lead a team of decision scientists and business intelligence developers while driving the development of scalable analytics solutions and data products.
This leadership role combines people management, analytics strategy, stakeholder engagement, and technical expertise. The ideal candidate has strong experience in business intelligence, data analytics, team leadership, and translating complex data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead and develop a team of decision scientists and business intelligence developers
✔ Partner with cross-functional leaders to prioritize high-impact analytics initiatives
✔ Drive data-informed decision-making across the organization
✔ Build scalable analytics processes and automated reporting solutions
✔ Manage stakeholder expectations and project prioritization
✔ Treat analytics products and data assets as continuously evolving business tools
✔ Establish best practices across analytics, operations, and reporting functions
✔ Research industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
✔ Support strategic planning and roadmap development
✔ Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
✔ 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-focused roles
✔ 2+ years of people management experience
✔ Experience hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✔ Ability to communicate complex findings to executive stakeholders
✔ Experience collaborating across multiple departments
✔ Advanced experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Mode
✔ Experience using SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar analytical tools
✔ Experience working with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Qubole
✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment

Work Location
This position is based in Denver, Colorado and follows a hybrid schedule requiring in-office attendance three days per week. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates relocating to the Denver area.
Compensation
Base Salary: $127,000 – $152,000 annually
Additional compensation includes bonus opportunities and equity as part of the overall compensation package. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
