Job Overview
Ibotta is seeking a Strategic Project Manager to support implementation initiatives across grocery retail, commerce, and advertising partners joining the Ibotta Performance Network (IPN).
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology implementation projects while collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and executive stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong project management experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead technology implementation projects from planning through completion
✔ Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technical disciplines
✔ Define project goals, milestones, risks, and success metrics
✔ Identify challenges and develop solutions to maintain project momentum
✔ Create and maintain project documentation, status reports, and PMO deliverables
✔ Support project scoping and requirements gathering activities
✔ Facilitate meetings and ensure clear action items and follow-up plans
✔ Manage competing priorities and resolve project conflicts effectively
✔ Conduct project reviews and retrospectives to improve future outcomes
✔ Support process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
✔ Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
✔ Contribute to ongoing operational and project management excellence
Qualifications
✔ 3+ years of project management experience in a technology-focused environment
✔ Bachelor’s degree preferred
✔ Experience managing projects involving external clients or vendors preferred
✔ Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and PMO practices
✔ Familiarity with PMBOK principles and project lifecycle management
✔ Experience with Google Workspace, AI tools, and business productivity software
✔ PMP certification preferred
✔ Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
✔ Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
✔ Experience with business analysis, process mapping, and facilitation
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔ Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Work Location
This position is based in Denver, Colorado and follows a hybrid schedule requiring in-office attendance three days per week. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates relocating to the Denver area.
Compensation
Base Salary: $85,000 – $96,000 annually
Additional compensation may include equity and company-sponsored benefits. Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.
